Job Title: Pastry Chef Job Type: Full-time Location: Sharjah & Dubai Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team and develop delicious and visually appealing desserts for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, creativity, and the ability to manage a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry team in the creation and execution of desserts
- Develop new and innovative dessert ideas and flavors
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
- Maintain high quality and consistency of desserts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor pastry team members
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop menu items and specials
- Manage pastry production schedules and work with FOH staff to ensure timely delivery of desserts
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen
- Develop and manage budgets and costs
- Degree in pastry arts or culinary arts is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pastry production, including experience in a management role
- Strong understanding of pastry techniques, including decorating and plating
- Creativity and ability to develop new and innovative dessert ideas
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other chefs and staff
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Chef: 5 years (Required)
