- Can create wide variety of exquisite bakery products and different kinds of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, macaroons, desserts following traditional and modern recipes
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices using for cooking
- Used to lead and handle a team of bakers, supervises all pastry staff to the best knowledge
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trend
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef of Baker from bakery industry
- Menu Engineering knowledge
- Organizing and leadership skills
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
- Working knowledge of chocolate work, wedding and specialty cakes
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
- Knowledgeable in food costing
- Dubai: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
