Job Summary
The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and sweet products in line with the brand's standards. This role requires creativity, consistency, hygiene discipline, and the ability to work efficiently in a production-oriented kitchen environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPastry & Dessert Production
Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, fillings, creams, and baked goods according to approved recipes
Ensure consistent taste, texture, portioning, and presentation
Support seasonal or new product development when required
Quality & Food Safety
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety at all times
Follow food safety regulations (HACCP principles preferred)
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)
Operations & Efficiency
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Minimize waste and report shortages or quality issues
Coordinate with kitchen team and supervisors for smooth operations
Equipment & Workplace
Use kitchen equipment safely and correctly
Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly
Keep workstations clean and organized during and after shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
