We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to lead our dessert and baked goods operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads while ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, prepare, and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections.
Create seasonal menus, dessert specials, and innovative recipes.
Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry staff.
Manage inventory, order ingredients, and control food costs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment according to health regulations.
Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team on menu planning and special events.
Monitor and maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in high-volume or fine-dining settings.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dessert presentation, and pastry trends.
Creative flair and attention to detail.
Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
