Pastry & Dessert Production
Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, baked goods, and dessert components to high quality standards
Develop and execute dessert menus aligned with each brand's concept:
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portioning, and presentation
Recipe Development & Innovation
Create new dessert recipes and seasonal specials
Adapt recipes based on available ingredients, cost targets, and brand identity
Test and standardize recipes for production use
Ice Cream & Frozen Desserts
Produce ice cream, gelato, and sorbet bases
Manage flavor development, churning, storage, and quality control
Maintain correct temperatures and storage procedures
Kitchen Operations
Manage daily mise en place and production planning
Monitor stock levels, place requisitions, and control food costs
Minimize waste and follow FIFO procedures
Hygiene, Safety & Quality Control
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all products
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with head chefs, kitchen teams, and management
Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required
Coordinate with service teams to ensure smooth dessert service
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook (restaurant, bakery, or ice creamery experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
Experience with ice cream or gelato production is a strong advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-brand kitchen environment
Good time management and organizational skills
Creativity with attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety standards
