Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Pastry Chef

to lead the preparation and presentation of all desserts, pastries, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will bring innovation, precision, and passion for pastry arts to deliver exceptional quality and consistency across all menu items.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Preparation

Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards. Develop new dessert menus, seasonal specials, and innovative presentations. Ensure proper portioning, flavor balance, and consistency. Oversee production of items such as cakes, tarts, mousses, breads, and plated desserts.

2. Quality & Presentation

Maintain high standards for taste, texture, and appearance of all pastries. Ensure all items are beautifully presented and align with brand standards.

3. Operations & Hygiene

Monitor inventory and order ingredients to minimize waste and cost. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP). Manage storage of ingredients and finished goods efficiently.

4. Leadership & Training

Supervise and train pastry team members. Foster a positive, organized, and productive work environment. Coordinate with chefs and service staff for smooth kitchen operations.

5. Creativity & Innovation

Research global pastry trends and bring fresh ideas to the menu. Participate in menu planning and contribute to seasonal/holiday offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role. Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques. Excellent attention to detail and artistic flair. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
