Manage inventory and order supplies while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
Monitor baking schedules to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
Inspect raw and finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
Stay updated on pastry trends and techniques to continually improve offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts.
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen or bakery.
Strong knowledge of dessert techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
Creativity and passion for pastry innovation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
