Professional who specializes in creating delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Their job involves preparing, baking, and presenting a wide variety of sweet treats, such as cakes, pastries, cookies, tarts, and bread with minimum 5 years relevant work experience.

The duties and responsibilities of a pastry chef may include:

1. Menu planning and creating new pastry recipes.
2. Measuring, mixing, and baking ingredients according to recipes.
3. Decorating and garnishing pastries to enhance their visual appeal.
4. Creating and overseeing the production of various doughs, fillings, and icings.
5. Ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients used in pastry preparations.
6. Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
7. Training and supervising assistant pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
8. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pastry section.
9. Collaborating with the culinary team to coordinate desserts with the overall menu.
10. Experimenting with new techniques, flavors, and presentation styles to create unique pastry offerings.

Must possess excellent baking and pastry-making skills, as well as a creative flair for design and presentation. They should have a deep understanding of different baking techniques and be able to follow recipes accurately. Attention to detail, time management, and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are essential in this role.
