Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef, Pastry in maintaining and improving pastry quality and presentation standards
  • Lead and support pastry teams in daily production across assigned outlets
  • Prepare and develop creative pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with brand standards
  • Design daily specials and ensure variety in menu offerings, including local and seasonal specialties
  • Plan pastry inventory and production based on forecasted business levels
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Oversee proper storage, rotation, and usage of ingredients and finished products
  • Maintain sanitation and upkeep of pastry equipment and work areas
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage, Marketing, and Public Relations teams to enhance guest satisfaction and support promotional initiatives
  • Control costs and support budget management while maintaining product quality
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef, Pastry or currently working as a Pastry Chef
  • Background in an international luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment
  • Culinary certification or accredited professional pastry education
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and workplace health and safety standards
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to lead teams, manage time effectively, and multitask in a high-volume operation
