traditional and modern French pastries
(patisserie and viennoiserie) and take full responsibility for managing daily production, quality control, kitchen staff, and inventory. This is a key leadership role that combines culinary creativity with operational management.
Culinary Duties:
Prepare a wide range of authentic French pastries including croissants, eclairs, mille-feuille, tarts, macarons, entremets, and more.
Develop and test new pastry recipes that align with the brand's vision.
Ensure all products meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Maintain consistency in flavor, portioning, and techniques across all items.
Management Duties:
Oversee daily operations of the bakery, including production planning and scheduling.
Manage kitchen staff: hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating performance.
Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Monitor and control ingredient inventory, cost, waste, and stock levels.
Coordinate with suppliers for ordering ingredients and equipment.
Ensure all equipment is used properly and maintained regularly.
