Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Clinical & Dermatological Care

Conduct detailed patient consultations, including medical history, skin assessments, and treatment planning. Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and pigmentation disorders. Perform minor dermatological procedures (e.g., mole checks, cryotherapy, biopsies, excisions). Prescribe and monitor appropriate medications and topical treatments. Provide advice on skincare routines, sun protection, and lifestyle factors affecting skin health.

Aesthetic Medicine

Perform non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as: Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections Dermal fillers Chemical peels Microneedling Laser or light-based therapies Skin rejuvenation and tightening procedures Develop and implement individualized aesthetic treatment plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aesthetic trends, products, and safety protocols.

Patient Care & Safety

Ensure all procedures adhere to the highest standards of patient safety, consent, and confidentiality. Conduct follow-up consultations and manage post-procedure care. Handle complications promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.

Professional Development & Compliance

Keep current with advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Participate in ongoing training, conferences, and certification programs. Comply with regulatory, ethical, and infection control standards (e.g., GMC, CQC, or equivalent). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams where required (e.g., plastic surgeons, dermatologists).

Business & Patient Relations (Optional, depending on setting)

Support practice growth through patient retention and satisfaction initiatives. Educate patients on treatment options and realistic outcomes. Contribute to marketing or promotional activities within ethical boundaries.
