Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a part-time basis starting 01.03.2026, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
The opportunity:
Join a forward-thinking institution as a Professor of Corporate Management conducting courses in the area of International Finance & Accounting at the Dubai campus of UE. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Professor to help shape the next generation of professionals. In this exciting role, you'll deliver engaging and practical design modules while leveraging your industry expertise to create real-world connections in the classroom.
As a Professor at UE Dubai, you'll play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality education and helping students develop the skills they need for success in their careers. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the academic journey of your students and support the continued growth of both the university and its vibrant international community.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Controlling & Cost Management, Management Consulting, Finance and/or Digital Transformation. Candidates are not expected to be experts in all these areas, but should be able to give lectures on at least two of them
• Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities in the field of business administration
• Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals
• Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor, master and doctoral theses ensuring a high standard of academic achievement
• Establishing partnerships with industry leaders and institutions to further grow the network of the University at the Dubai location
• Participate in university administration and committee work, actively supporting the success of UE
• Advising prospective students

Your profile

• Experience in teaching lectures in the areas of Corporate Management, Finance and Controlling. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these courses is an advantage
• Work experience in international and national companies
• Ability to teach courses in English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• Publication and research activity desired
• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
• Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University

Requirements for professorship:

• University studies completed with a master's degree
• Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
• Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university

The hiring requirements for a professorship are based on the provisions of 43 of the university law of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany. The award of the title Professor by the University of Applied Sciences of Europe is contingent on the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany.
