Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
for
fit-out, civil, and joinery
works based on project drawings and specifications.
Conduct
cost estimation and analysis
for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather pricing and scope details.
Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations and provide cost comparisons.
Assist in
budget preparation, cost planning, and value engineering
to optimize project costs.
Track and assess
project variations, cost impacts, and contract compliance
.
Ensure estimates align with industry standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an
Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
, specializing in
fit-out, civil, and joinery projects
.
Strong expertise in
BOQ preparation
and cost estimation.
Knowledge of
construction materials, methods, and pricing specific to fit-out, civil, and joinery
.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Degree/Diploma in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
is preferred.
