Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Welcomes and assists guests' according to FHR Brand Standards.
Remains observant and responds to each guest who they come in contact with.
Is an ambassador of the Hotel by providing an excellent first impression.
Ensures each guest receives a warm, personal greeting when arriving or departing.
Greets all guests courteously, using the guest's name whenever possible.
Follows the Occupational Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Reports suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Security.
Handles complaints efficiently and report as necessary to the Supervisor.
Responsible of maintaining the hotel ground appearance and driveways up to standards.
Ensures adherence to Fairmont's Code of Ethics.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Guest Services preferred.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Highly responsible & reliable.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset.
Must hold a valid U.A.E. driving license.
Must be physically fit in order to lift items up to 30 kilograms.
