Job Description

Mason:

Measure, cut, and lay bricks, blocks, and stones to the required specifications. Mix and prepare mortar, concrete, plaster, and other bonding materials. Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, floors, pavements, and other structures. Apply plaster, stucco, or decorative finishes to walls and ceilings. Ensure structures are level, aligned, and properly sealed. Lay tiles on walls, floors, and surfaces ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and level. Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials to complete tile installation. Repair or replace damaged tiles and re-grout existing installations. Ensure high-quality finishing, precision, and aesthetics.

Painter:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes. Mix and match paints, ensuring the right color and texture. Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Protect surrounding areas and furniture by covering with drop cloths, masking, or taping. Inspect painted surfaces for touch-ups, ensuring smooth and uniform finishes. Measure, mark, and cut gypsum boards according to required dimensions. Install gypsum boards on walls, ceilings, and partitions using screws, adhesives, or framing systems. Create false ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative gypsum elements as per design drawings. Apply joint tape, putty, or plaster to seal joints, cracks, and corners. Sand and smooth surfaces for painting or final finishing. Inspect completed work to ensure alignment, quality, and finishing standards. Repair or replace damaged sections of gypsum boards or false ceilings.
