Job Description
Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and cleaning. Apply primer or other preparatory coatings as needed.
Painting:
Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using various techniques (brush, roller, spray). Ensure even and consistent coverage. Match paint colors to existing surfaces or specific color codes.
Color Matching:
Use color matching techniques to accurately match paint colors. Mix paints to achieve desired shades and tones. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Store equipment properly to prevent damage. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Handle and dispose of paint and other materials safely.
Requirements:
High school certificate or equivalent Has knowledge in mixing stains and paints as per the required finish. Has knowledge in spray coating techniques. Has knowledge in color matching and shade adjustment. Has knowledge in touch-up and finishing corrections. Has knowledge in paint and polish material mixing. Has knowledge in sanding and surface preparation when required. Has knowledge in calculating required materials accurately.
