Job Title: Furniture Painter (Wood and Metal)

Location: Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Painter to join our team in Sharjah. As a professional in painting wood and metal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and aesthetic appeal of our furniture products.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming wood and metal furniture components.

Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to furniture surfaces using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.

Mix and match paint colors and stains to achieve desired shades and hues, following customer specifications and design requirements.

Perform touch-ups and repairs on furniture surfaces as needed to maintain quality standards.

Monitor and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and paint mixing machines, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling hazardous materials and operating painting equipment.

Collaborate with other team members, including carpenters, upholsterers, and finishers, to ensure timely completion of furniture projects.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the painting area, including proper storage of paints, solvents, and tools.

Keep accurate records of paint colors, quantities used, and production times for reporting and inventory purposes.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in furniture painting techniques and finishes.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a furniture painter, with expertise in painting wood and metal surfaces.

Proficiency in preparing surfaces, applying paint/stain, and achieving desired finishes.

Strong knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and finishes, as well as their properties and applications.

Ability to interpret design specifications and color requirements accurately.

Skilled in using painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, rollers, and mixing machines.

Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, with a focus on achieving flawless finishes.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy furniture components for extended periods.

Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certification or training in painting and finishing techniques is a plus.
