Job Purpose:

The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paints, coatings, varnishes, and finishes to buildings, structures, and temporary installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primers or sealers. Apply paints, emulsions, enamels, varnishes, textures, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints and coatings to required colors and specifications. Ensure smooth, even finishes with proper coverage and minimal defects. Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and finish schedules. Protect adjacent surfaces, fixtures, and equipment from paint damage. Perform touch-ups, repainting, and rectification work as required. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition. Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient workflow. Complete tasks within assigned timelines and productivity targets.
Health, Safety & Compliance:

Follow company HSE policies and site safety regulations. Use PPE such as gloves, masks, goggles, and safety shoes at all times. Handle paints, thinners, and chemicals safely as per MSDS guidelines. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum

2-4 years

of experience as a Painter in construction, fit-out, or maintenance works. Experience in interior and exterior painting preferred. Familiarity with various paint types, finishes, and surface preparation methods. Physically fit and able to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.

Working Conditions:

Site-based role May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors Overtime or weekend work as per project requirements

Immediate availability preferred

Basic English, Hindi/Urdu communication skills
