Job Description

We are hiring an experienced

Painter

to join our Facilities Management team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality painting, surface preparation, and finishing works across residential, commercial, and facility assets. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced FM environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

painting and finishing

works for buildings, apartments, offices, and common areas under FM contracts. Perform proper

surface preparation

including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, filling cracks/holes, and applying primer. Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Conduct

touch-ups and repainting

for walls, ceilings, doors, metal surfaces, and wooden fixtures. Assist with

preventive and corrective maintenance

tasks involving painting and coating. Mix and match paint colors to achieve required shades. Follow FM standards for quality, safety, and reporting. Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and flooring prior to work. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition. Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to complete work orders on time.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Painter

in Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Construction. Strong knowledge of

surface preparation, paint application techniques, and finishing methods

. Ability to interpret work orders and FM job instructions. Familiarity with safety procedures related to ladders, scaffolding, and chemical use. Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual tasks. Basic communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
