The Painter is responsible for preparing, priming, and applying paints, varnishes, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, or equipment. They ensure high-quality finishes that meet client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing imperfections.
Mix and match paints to desired colors and textures.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Protect surfaces not meant to be painted with drop cloths or tape.
Inspect finished work for quality and durability.
Qualifications:
Experience in residential or commercial painting.
Good color vision and aesthetic sense.
Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
