Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming before painting.
Mix and apply paints, varnishes, primers, or coatings to a variety of surfaces including metal, wood, and composite materials.
Use spray guns, rollers, and brushes to apply paint on trailers, portacabins, and related structures.
Ensure even coating and proper finish according to company standards.
Perform touch-ups and finishing work to correct imperfections.
Mask and tape areas not to be painted to avoid overspray or contamination.
Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and spray booths.
Follow proper safety procedures including the use of PPE and ventilation.
Work with production supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Report material needs, defects, or surface irregularities.
Requirements
Proven experience as a painter in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial setting.
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and different paint types.
Skilled in using spray painting equipment and hand tools.
Understanding of safety guidelines related to paints, solvents, and coatings.
Good eye for detail, color coordination, and finish quality.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift in a workshop environment.
Ability to follow instructions, read basic technical drawings, and work under minimal supervision.
