We are looking for skilled and reliable Painters to join our construction/maintenance team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes to buildings, containers, or interior/exterior structures, ensuring a high-quality and durable finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching holes, and applying primer.
Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, enamels, or other finishes.
Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply paint and coatings.
Ensure proper coverage, uniform finish, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Protect surfaces and surrounding areas with appropriate coverings and tape.
Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work area after completion.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies on-site.
Report material needs, progress, and issues to supervisors promptly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, or similar environments.
Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and color mixing.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures.
Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and manual labor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in container or industrial painting optional.
Familiarity with spray-painting equipment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
