Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- To maintain all kitchen equipment in good working order.
- To attend breakdown of kitchen and laundry equipment
- To prepare a preventive maintenance schedule.
- To maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen and laundry equipment.
- To maintain the performance of pumps and motors.
- To follow the preventive maintenance chart strictly and to maintain records for future reference.
- To coordinate with other department\xe2\x80\x99s counterparts, to ensure their satisfaction on quality & progress and to create healthy relationships between inter-departments.
- To create on the job training among Engineers on-the-job and create opportunities for them to be able to handle a limited scale.
- To be aware of the emergency procedure in the hotel and know what to do in case of fire.
- To abide by the rules of the hotel and act as an example to others.
- To come up with suggestions that may help to improve the maintenance.
