POSITION TITLE: Painter Summary Description: As a Painter you are responsible for all painting & polishing work, Carpet & wall paper work in the hotel building. Your role needs you to adhere to policies and procedures ensuring the smooth functioning of the Engineering Department and will include key responsibilities such as: A) Responsibilities and Duties:

• Regularly monitor and maintain the painting & polishing work in the hotel
• Regularly monitor and carry out the guest rooms maintenance request
• Regular monitoring of stock of paint & polish material
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to all guest rooms wall & ceiling
• Regularly monitor required materials for painting work and report any required materials to supervisor to place order
• Carry out daily check lists as prepared by supervisor
• To accomplish all assigned work orders on daily basis and report any pending to supervisor
• To help the other technical staff whenever assistance required
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Additional duties and responsibilities: Ensure integrity and confidentiality of information at all times. To perform any additional requirement, tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as deemed necessary by your Immediate Manager or the Management. Changes in business may require alterations to this . Care of Equipment Ensures maintenance and careful handling of equipment used. Ensures timely reporting of malfunction or maintenance deficiency to appropriate area. Training and Employee\xe2\x80\x99s Activities Attends scheduled trainings. Participates actively in company initiated employee activities. Grooming and Hygiene Adheres to the specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the hotel and surrounding area. Attendance Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping. Company Policies and Procedures Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee\xe2\x80\x99s Handbook, Disciplinary Code, and Rules & Regulations. Environmental Awareness Reduces waste of supplies and materials by re-using or selling. Recycles, when possible. Conserves water and energy by adhering to environmental / energy conservation checklist appropriate for the surrounding area. Maintains clean surroundings.
