Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sandblasting, and removing rust, dirt, and old paint using appropriate equipment.
Apply industrial-grade protective coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, anti-corrosive) using airless spray systems, rollers, or brushes.
Ensure all painting and coating work meets quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools after use.
Collaborate with other crew members, including welders and rigging teams, to support rig operations.
Adhere to offshore safety regulations, wear proper PPE, and participate in emergency drills.
Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) during painting to ensure optimal application.
Maintain inventory and stock control of paints and materials.
Job Requirements:
valid familiarization to drilling operations certificate
* valid basic safety training course (survival course), including HUET as applicable.
