Job Description

Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service. Painting interior and exterior areas of the hotel using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators. Preparing surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or sandblasting. Cutting in freehand or with tape, spot priming, and rolling walls. Caulking, filling, sanding trim; patching drywall; and rolling walls and trim. Mixing and matching paints, enamels, lacquers, stains, and special protective coatings. Identifying and repairing deficiencies in drywall, millwork, appliances, fixtures, flooring, and windows. Assisting with preventative maintenance tasks and repairs. Maintaining an organized inventory of painting materials and supplies. Prioritizing tasks and working efficiently. Supporting Health & Safety standards and environmental sustainability programs. Collaborating with the Chief Engineer and team on projects and renovations. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Secondary / High school education Trade Certificate will be advantageous Minimum 3 years of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise
