Full job description

To perform all painting, finishing, and decorating work required for the maintenance and improvement of company facilities, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing cracks or holes. Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes according to specifications. Apply primer, undercoat, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or spray guns. Perform touch-ups and repair work on walls, ceilings, doors, metal structures, and other surfaces. Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters using appropriate coverings. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition. Ensure safe use of chemicals and painting materials in compliance with safety procedures. Assist in estimating materials and time required for painting tasks. Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams for preventive and corrective maintenance work. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum

2-3 years of experience

as a Painter, preferably in

facility management or building maintenance

. Good knowledge of various painting techniques and surface preparation. Familiarity with different types of paints, varnishes, and coatings. Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines. Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces. Time management and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
