. The role involves surface preparation and painting of boats and vessels using marine-grade coatings to ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and a high-quality finish. Candidates must have hands-on experience in marine painting and be ready to start work without delay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare boat surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paints and coatings.
- Mix and match paints, varnishes, gel coats, and other finishing materials according to specifications.
- Apply primers, base coats, top coats, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes, correcting imperfections as needed.
- Follow technical drawings and work instructions for color schemes and design details.
- Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain and calibrate painting equipment regularly.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, disposing of waste materials responsibly.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in boat painting, with knowledge of marine coatings preferred.
- Skilled in surface preparation, including sanding, grinding, and masking.
- Proficient in using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Knowledge of different types of marine paints, gel coats, and varnishes.
- Attention to detail and a steady hand for finishing work.
- Understanding of safety procedures related to paint and chemical handling.
- Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces on boats.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification or training in spray painting or marine coatings.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations regarding the disposal of chemical waste.
- Experience with color matching and custom finishes.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
