Job Description

The Paint Protection Film (PPF) Shop Manager oversees all operational, technical, and administrative functions of the PPF department. This role ensures consistent, high-quality installations, efficient shop workflow, and exceptional customer experience. The Manager leads a team of technicians, upholds company standards, and drives the growth and performance of the PPF division.

Primary Responsibilities



Operational Leadership



? Oversee daily shop operations to maintain efficient workflow, quality control, and timely project completion.

? Consistently meet or exceed quarterly PPF sales targets through strong product knowledge, customer engagement, and proactive pipeline management.

? Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure consistency and operational excellence.

? Manage scheduling, job assignments, and project prioritization to maximize productivity.

? Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Team Management



? Recruit, train, and supervise PPF technicians and support staff.

? Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and development opportunities.

? Foster a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture aligned with company values and objectives.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations



? Serve as the primary point of contact for PPF customers, ensuring transparent communication, accurate job estimates, and high levels of satisfaction.

? Collaborate with the sales and service departments to coordinate project handoffs and ensure a seamless customer experience.

? Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a commitment to service recovery.

Quality & Performance Management



? Uphold quality standards for all installations, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and company benchmarks.

? Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as turnaround times, rework rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

? Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, reduce waste, and increase profitability.

Inventory & Financial Oversight



? Manage inventory of PPF materials, supplies, and tools to support efficient operations.

? Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain high-quality material sourcing at competitive pricing.

? Support budgeting, cost control, and forecasting efforts within the department.

Qualifications



Education & Experience



? 3-5 years of experience in PPF installation or related automotive aftermarket work.

? 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a technical or operations environment.

? PPF application (XPEL, 3M, STEK, SunTek, etc.) strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities



? Comprehensive understanding of PPF processes, materials, and installation techniques.

? Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a technical team in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

? Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.

? Proficiency in shop management systems, scheduling software, and Google Workspace.

Physical Requirements



? Ability to stand or be on feet for extended periods

? Comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment.

PAY:



? QAR 4000
