Paediatric Infectious Disease Consultant Physician

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Paediatric Infectious Disease Consultant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, treating, and managing infectious diseases in pediatric patients. This role involves providing expert care, conducting research on infectious conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of care. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients, including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing thorough examinations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious diseases affecting children, including complex or rare conditions. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, cultures, imaging studies, and other relevant procedures. Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending therapies, and advising on preventive measures. Counsel patients and their families on infection prevention, vaccinations, hygiene practices, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care. Stay updated on advancements in infectious disease treatments, research findings, and emerging outbreaks. Participate in hospital infection control programs and provide education to staff and the community on infectious disease prevention. Document patient information accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with medical laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, or junior staff as needed. Qualifications

Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) with specialized training in Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases. Minimum of 2 years of post-Board Certification experience as a Specialist or Consultant in Infectious Diseases. Approved certifications include UK Ireland CCT, CCST; USA, Canada ABMS; RCPSC; Australia, New Zealand Fellowship of the Royal Colleges; South Africa M Med CMSA; Certificate of Specialisation from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark. MOH license or eligibility to obtain one. Benefits
