Client Our client is a small independent clinic that has been established for a number of years and believes in a diverse work force, whilst also providing it\xe2\x80\x99s therapists with the autonomy to carry out their work. Due to demand, they are looking to grow their team. The Role They are looking to hire a Speech & Language Therapist that has experience with younger children and has experience in School settings. This would require travel between 2-3 schools and nurseries. Skills: \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong ability to manage time effectively. \xc2\xb7 Capacity to prioritize and handle a demanding caseload efficiently. \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Deep commitment to teamwork. \xc2\xb7 Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Duties:
- Conduct assessments and therapy sessions for students within a school environment, focusing on receptive language, expressive language, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to distribute caseloads and departmental responsibilities as required.
- Deliver comprehensive written and verbal feedback and reports on student assessments.
- Establish and pursue appropriate speech, language, and communication objectives for students in close collaboration with teaching staff and parents.
- Provide session-wise feedback to parents concerning their child\'s therapy progress.
- Develop and execute individualized, group, and consultative speech therapy programs within the school setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate with professionals from relevant agencies as needed for ongoing student management or referrals.
- A specialisation in reading
- A valid DHA License or DHA eligibility letter
- UAE Driving License
- Preferable experience with Hanen and Makaton.
