The Packing Machine Operator - Flow Wrap operates and monitors flow wrap machines used for packing bakery products. The role ensures products are packed safely, correctly, and efficiently while following quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. A minimum of 1 year of experience in flow wrap packing in a bakery or food factory is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate flow wrap packing machines for fresh or frozen bakery products
Set and adjust machine parameters such as speed, temperature, film tension, and cutting length
Load and change packing materials including films, reels, and labels
Check seal quality, weight, date coding, and labeling accuracy
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments during operation
Handle basic machine troubleshooting and minor faults
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
Follow food safety, hygiene, GMP, and HACCP standards
Reduce packing waste and machine downtime
Maintain daily production, batch, and packing records
Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet targets
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience as a Flow Wrap Machine Operator
Experience in bakery or food manufacturing preferred
Basic knowledge of machine operation and sensors
Understanding of food safety, GMP, and HACCP
Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions
Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of flow wrap machine settings
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail for sealing and coding
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Willingness to work shifts and overtime
