Packing Helper

Job Description
The Packing Helper at IIQAF is responsible for a variety of tasks related to packing and shipping. These tasks include selecting products as per customer requirements, organizing products for shipment, ensuring they are securely sealed, and securely wrapping or boxing and sealing products for shipping. The Packing Helper must also follow safety guidelines when packing and shipping products and accurately recording product movements.

- Read packing slips/ loading sheets and follow the instructions given to locate and select needed items
- Examine goods for damages and check accuracy of orders
- Load and unload products from packaging materials
- Inspect products for conformance to customer specifications
- Securely seal packages for shipment
- Accurately mark and label containers, products, and documents
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines when packing and shipping products
- Record product movements accurately
- Other tasks as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have metalworking experience or familiarity with tools.
- Basic understanding of shipping, receipt, storage and order management processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to sudden changes
- Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 75 pounds
