Currently our company is looking to hire a talented and competitive individual in the capacity of Packaging Executive - NPD projects at our Dubai Office to fulfil the company's goals of achieving quality and quantity parameters of Packaging Materials for our products.

Job Responsibilities

Packaging Development Activities Will be responsible for sourcing and procuring variety of packaging materials like boxes, cartons, caps, labels etc. from both local and international vendors. Responsible for monitoring the entire procurement process from raising PO's to supplier payments in collaboration with relevant team members. Floating enquiries to New & Existing Vendors for Packaging Material requirement along with necessary technical details. Responsible for continuous follow-up of Purchase Orders in order to effectively meet operational requirement. Responsible for assessing and evaluating technical and commercial specifications for the variety of packaging materials in use. Coordinating with relevant departments for sample approvals of Packaging Materials (New & Existing). Should be able to coordinate international/import procurements and will be responsible for arranging and managing the appropriate documentation for such purchases. Vendor Development & Negotiation Identify and develop new vendors and suppliers in every quarter on an ongoing basis. Negotiation with suppliers & vendors is a critical responsibility in terms of contracts, payment terms, delivery terms etc. Should monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Constantly develop and maintain working relations with existing and new vendors. Procurement Planning and Inventory Control Support business operations by effectively forecasting material needs by coordinating with Sales and Warehouse Team continuously. Implement Inventory Management Procedures for effective inventory control and avoid material shortages. Inbound Logistics Management Executing every order in a timely fashion. Ensure cost-effective management of inbound material supply chain and logistics. Proper Import Documentation and custom handling is to be taken care of with every order. Coordinating with the Warehouse Team and providing them with details of Inbound Shipments.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Packaging or related field Proven experience of 3-5 Years in procurement of Packaging Materials Demonstrated track record in Vendor Development & Negotiations Proven experience in inventory management Experience and understanding of ISO procedures and standards and other related quality
