The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working independently outdoors to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively seek out and engage prospective customers in assigned territories
Visit clients in person to present, promote, and sell products/services
Conduct product demonstrations and provide relevant sales materials
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
Report regularly to the sales manager on territory performance and market trends
Gather feedback and provide insights to help improve products and services
Follow up on leads and referrals from business networking, cold calls, and marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a sales representative, preferably in outdoor/direct sales
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing is a plus
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Work Environment:
Field-based position requiring frequent travel and face-to-face interaction
Work involves outdoor visits in varying weather conditions
Flexible hours may be required, including evenings or weekends depending on customer availability
