Researching, prospecting and developing new and existing client relationships
Use lead generation tools such as Salesforce, VSNAP, Twitter and LinkedIn to generate potential sales leads
Prospect and qualify prospective business from outbound marketing campaign leads, inbound leads and various other lead sources
Understand a wide range of hardware and software product solutions and technologies
Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations
Making actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements
Participate in sales, business and technical training courses to increase awareness of our channel partners' solutions
Keep accurate and detailed notes in all CRM related activities
Send product evaluations, generate quotes, process orders as necessary
Resolving sales or delivery issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Previous full cycle sales experience; preferably infrastructure-related
Enterprise IT network and infrastructure design and product knowledge familiarity preferred or an aptitude to quickly ramp up on product hardware and software solutions
Superior business and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and rapport building abilities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Ability and willingness to travel
