Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate

OT and OPD Aesthetic Nurse

to assist a leading

Plastic Surgery Consultant

in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. The nurse will support day-to-day operations in the operating theatre and outpatient clinic, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety in compliance with DHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Operation Theatre (OT) Support:

Assist the plastic surgeon after invasive surgical procedures. Prepare the OT by sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring aseptic conditions. Monitor patient vitals during surgery and provide post-operative recovery support. Maintain accurate surgical and medical records in line with DHA documentation standards.

2. Outpatient Department (OPD) Support:

Support the plastic surgeon in outpatient consultations, wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes. Assist with minor aesthetic procedures (Botox, fillers, PRP, microneedling, etc.). Provide patient education on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions. Manage patient bookings, follow-ups, and documentation in EMR systems.

3. Aesthetic Nursing Duties:

Perform basic non-surgical aesthetic procedures (based on training and certification). Assist with skincare consultations and recommend post-treatment care and products. Document before-and-after photos with patient consent. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.

4. Administrative & Clinical Coordination:

Maintain inventory of surgical and aesthetic supplies. Support clinic operations by ensuring patient readiness and documentation accuracy. Collaborate with the surgeon and front-desk team to ensure smooth patient flow and satisfaction. Participate in continuous professional development and training as required by DHA.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN)

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

Valid DHA license or eligibility letter

(mandatory). Minimum

2-3 years of experience in plastic surgery/aesthetic nursing

. Certification in aesthetic procedures (preferred, e.g., Botox, fillers, laser safety). Knowledge of UAE healthcare standards and patient privacy protocols.
