Job Title: Orthotist Job Requirement: Education and Licensure:

Minimum (BSc) degree in Prosthetics and orthotics. Or graduated from approved National program for Prosthetics and orthotics.
A valid professional license to practice the specialty from Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialties.
Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment.

Experience:

For Saudi:
- Fresh graduate.
For non-Saudi:
- Bachelor holder: Minimum of (3) Years postgraduate experience in both the manufacturing and clinical application of orthotics. This should include all types of splints, braces and surgical footwear.
- Program Completion: Minimum of (5) Years postgraduate experience in both the manufacturing and clinical application of orthotics. This should include all types of splints, braces and surgical footwear.
Preferred For Saudi: Previous experience in the related field.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

Experience and high Knowledge of Orthotics& Prosthetic principles and practice.
The ability to work as part of a team in the rehabilitation for disabled patients.
Capable of designing individual appliances and directing technicians in the manufacture.
