Orthopedic Surgeon - Foot and Ankle, Pediatric, Upper Limb Joint Replacement

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Foot and Ankle, Pediatric, and Upper Limb Joint Replacement procedures. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for providing surgical and non-surgical treatments to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and upper limb joint problems. The surgeon will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and upper limb joint problems Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options, based on the patient's medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests Perform surgical procedures such as ankle arthroscopy, ankle fusion, ankle replacement, foot and ankle fracture repair, pediatric orthopedic procedures, and upper limb joint replacement surgery Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care Maintain accurate and complete medical records and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest advances in orthopedic surgery
