ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED. A new healthcare facility is seeking a specialized candidate for the role of Orthopedic Surgeon - Specialist/Senior Specialist/Consultant. Job Purpose: Specializes in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, disorders and diseases of the body\'s musculoskeletal system. Responsibilities include setting broken bones with braces, pins, splints, or casts, diagnosing injuries or illnesses to bones, joints, and ligaments, and correcting defects to the musculoskeletal system. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and reviews basic information on medical history, allergies, and lifestyle.
• Inquire about current symptoms and reasons for the visit.
• Diagnose patients using specialized equipment for identifying bone fractures or defects.
• Analyze diagnostic tests such as MRIs, X-Rays to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis.
• Educate patients about available treatments and adverse effects.
• Perform surgical procedures to realign fractured bones and torn ligaments or to replace joints such as the knee and hip and arrange rehabilitation plans.
• Prescribe medications or supplements or pain medication, as needed, and make diet, hygiene, lifestyle, and exercise recommendations to boost patient\xe2\x80\x99s healing process.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments during follow-up visits.
• Provide surgical assistance and consultation to medical doctors and general practitioners
• Attend orthopedic conferences and seminars to learn about new medical techniques and topics.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD).
• Must have completed residency training, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
• In-depth knowledge of hand, foot, and spine surgery.
