We are excited to announce an opening for an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions. Your expertise will be crucial in performing advanced surgical interventions, including facial trauma repair, orthognathic surgery, and the placement of dental implants.
We are looking for a highly skilled surgeon who combines technical proficiency with a compassionate approach to patient care. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including clinical assessments and imaging interpretation.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans catered to each patient's needs.
Perform surgical procedures with a strong focus on patient safety and recovery.
Manage both pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with dental and medical professionals to create comprehensive care strategies.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and post-operative protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Current board certification and a valid state dental license.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field.
Expertise in a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Dedication to continuous professional education and implementation of best practices in patient care.
