Job Description

The Oracle Application Express (APEX) Developers to develop and maintain APEX-based software applications. The work includes eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing, and implementing efficient and effective solutions using APEX tool suite. Troubleshooting, maintaining, and modernizing existing applications. Core Role Responsibilities: Work closely the Software Engineering team with responsibility for the following task: 1. Responsible for designing and implementing new features into POS Point of Sales solution using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL. 1. Responsible for the integration of third party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries. 2. Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features. 3. Evaluate new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies into the solution. Required Skills and Experience: 1. 7+ years' experience designing and developing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX. 2. Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript. 3. Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming experience. 4. Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes. 5. Relational Data modeling. 6. Knowledge of web application usability trends. 7. HTML5 / CSS knowledge. 8. Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment. 9. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues. 10. APEX 5 Universal Theme. 11. APEX Plug-in development. 12. Experience integrating REST APIs into APEX applications. 13. Web application security / Data security. 14. Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment. Educational Requirements: 1.
