Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Kalba, sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing eye diseases and performing vision tests. You will also be expected to counsel patients on their ocular health and provide them with advice on preventive measures to maintain good vision. You must possess excellent communication skills and an understanding of the latest developments in ophthalmology technology. Requirements for the Candidate: The ideal candidate should have an optometry degree from a recognized institution and at least 2 years of experience in the field. An understanding of current medical legislation is also required, along with excellent knowledge of the use of modern optometric equipment and techniques. You must have good organizational skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate strong customer service skills while interacting with patients. A valid license Or eligibility letter is necessary for this job position. Responsibilities # Performing eye test and Prescription writing # Dispensing and selling optical frames, contact lenses adn sunglasses # Checking optical frames and contact lenses for accuracy and comfort # Advising customers on eye wear option, optical lenses and contact lenses # Achieving sales Targets with regard to selling optical frames, sunglasses, contact lenses # Supporting sales staff in their day to day transactions # Perform in shop inventory and ordering stocks # Managing general cleanliness and hygine standards # Liaising with sales representatives from eye care product suppliers Qualifications/Skills: # Bachelor Degree in Optometry # Valid license or eligibility letter (MOH ) # Minimum one year of relevant experience in retail optical store environment # Good knowledge of lenses and other eyewear products # Well versed with vision disorders # Aware of latest equipment and techniques # Computer literate # Good personality and excellent customer service skills Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate: Kalba, sharjah : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Job Type: Permanent Salary:Based on the experience Application Deadline: 30/12/2023 Job Type: Permanent Salary: From AED3,000.00 per month Ability to Commute:
