Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented DHA Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic and contact lenses, major eyewear brands, and possess excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills. A commitment to accuracy, customer service, and continuous learning is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of
progressive lens ranges
across all major brands. Accuratelymark and verify lenses
forSingle Vision, Bifocals, and Progressives
. Maintain overall knowledge ofophthalmic lenses
, including materials, indices, types, and coatings. Possess thorough understanding ofcontact lenses
across all categories, brands, and applications. Fit and troubleshootspecialty contact lenses
, includingToric
andMultifocal
lenses. Maintain a working knowledge ofmajor branded eyewear
and assist in frame selection.Analyze and resolve
both technical and customer-related issues effectively and professionally.Multitask
efficiently and remain calm and professional in high-pressure or fast-paced situations. Exhibit awillingness to learn
and participate in ongoing training and skill development.Qualifications:
Prior experience in an optical or optometry setting preferred. Strong understanding of lens technology and optical measurements. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new systems and techniques.
