Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
Diagnose and manage refractive errors, ocular diseases, and visual impairments.
Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and low vision aids.
Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists as needed.
Maintain accurate electronic health records.
Educate patients on proper eye care, lens use, and preventive practices.
Stay current with industry advancements and compliance requirements in the UAE.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in optometry (UAE experience preferred).
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
Familiarity with UAE healthcare standards is an advantage.
