Al Jebal Group of Opticals is looking for a multi-skilled
Optical Technician cum Salesperson
to join our team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both technical tasks like lens fitting and assembly, and front-end sales duties including customer service and product recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Grind, edge, and fit lenses into frames using manual or automated tools.
Interpret prescriptions and ensure precise lens alignment and fitting.
Assist customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses based on prescription and style.
Provide clear information about lens types, coatings, and pricing.
Manage repairs, adjustments, and ensure product quality before delivery.
Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and support the sales team in achieving targets.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in optics or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in both optical lab work and sales.
Strong understanding of optical products and fabrication techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
English fluency is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
