Our Client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Dubai, UAE looking for a knowledgeable DHA Licensed ophthalmologist to be responsible for repairing traumatic eye injuries, diagnosing eye ailments, and prescribing medications. The ophthalmologist\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities range from simple duties, such as prescribing corrective lenses, to performing highly advanced duties, such as keyhole or laser surgery. To be a successful ophthalmologist, you should be willing to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye. You should be meticulous, analytical, and have very steady hands.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing routine care such as vision testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses.
• Performing corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and corneas, and removing cataracts.
• Performing advanced surgical procedures, such as keyhole or laser surgery.
• Diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries.
• Managing emergency eye clinics, outpatient clinics, or other specialist eye clinics.
• Treating medical disorders that affect the vision through a holistic approach.
• Using therapeutic procedures and performing biopsies.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
• Working Days: 5-6 Days / Week
• Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning and/or Afternoon Shifts
• Contract Period 3 Years Renewable
• Probation Period 6 Months
• Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Spouse and 2 Kids
• On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Medical School: MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Postgraduate Training: Completion of specialty qualification Ophthalmology Fellowship: any additional fellowship is a plus Clinical Work Experience: Not Less than 2 years post Specialty Qualification License: Active DHA Eligibility Letter or License as Specialist or Consultant Ophthalmologist

SALARY

• Gross Monthly Salary: AED 55,000 \xe2\x80\x93 65,000 (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
