Job Title: Operator, Trouble Shooting and Maintenance of Shooting Range

Responsibilities and Entitlement:

Operations Management

Operate all shooting range systems, including target retrieval systems, lighting, and control panels, ensuring full functionality during operation hours. Prepare the range for daily use, including power-up procedures, system checks, and safety inspections. Coordinate with range officers/trainers to ensure systems align with training needs and range schedules. Maintain up-to-date logs of equipment usage, downtime, and incident reports.

Preventive & Routine Maintenance

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for all range components including: Target carriers and motor systems. Bullet traps and backstops. Audio/visual signaling systems. Electronic scoring or monitoring systems (if applicable). Check alignment, calibration, and wear & tear of mechanical and electrical components. Keep updated maintenance records in line with manufacturer guidelines and internal policy.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, or electronic components of the range equipment. Respond promptly to any system malfunctions or breakdowns during operation to minimize downtime. Replace damaged or worn-out parts with proper documentation and manufacturer-approved replacements. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for complex repairs or warranty-covered issues.
