JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operations Monitoring: Perform, control, and monitor power generation operations from the central control room to ensure continuous power supply. Coordinate with other power operators to achieve reliable, efficient, and safe operations of equipment/systems and ensure personnel safety.
- Plant Condition Checks: Monitor and record operating conditions of plant/equipment, report process parameters, and notify SPSO or DMSO of any abnormalities for corrective actions.
- Routine Activities: Follow up and carry out plant routine activities as per the approved schedule. Assist in start-up, shutdown, and emergency operations of the plant and equipment as directed.
- Reporting: Take necessary readings for the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Isolation and Normalization: Carry out necessary isolations and normalizations as instructed by SPSO/DMSO, including placing and removing LC tags.
- Technical Requirements: Must have experience operating modern gas/steam turbine power stations.
