A transport company is looking for "EXPERIENCED Operations Supervisor" Only Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree: business, logistics, supply chain, or any similar field - Experience 5 Years - Logistics management and Supply chain - Process optimization - Carrier vendors management - Team leadership - Sales and negotiations Roles: . Leadership: Manage and guide drivers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other operational team members. . Operations Management: Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and timely deliveries. . Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with transportation laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. . Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for customers regarding service updates, complaints, or delivery issues. . Resource Management: Manage fleet resources (trucks, vans, drivers) to optimize capacity, schedules, and routes. . Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Responsibilities: . Plan and coordinate transportation schedules based on customer needs and fleet availability. . Supervise the loading/unloading process to ensure cargo is handled properly. . Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing and repairs. . Review and approve timesheets, delivery logs, fuel usage reports, etc. . Train, mentor, and evaluate operational staff performance. . Handle accident investigations, driver incidents, and disciplinary actions when necessary. . Optimize delivery routes for cost savings and service improvement. . Manage inventory (if applicable) and ensure correct documentation of shipments. . Collaborate with other departments like sales, warehouse, and customer service. . Report operational metrics to senior management (e.g., on-time delivery rate, fleet utilization, incident reports).
